Rutgers students, as part of their self-directed independent research through storytelling, shape science film scenes from hours of original science-in-action video data. The below stories will be shaped and woven into the final one-hour film Mysteries of 9° North with each participating student receiving credit as an associate science story editor. Students also have opportunities to film new science scenes as the deep-sea microbial research continues in real time.
